Would you like an experience that will live with you for many years and expose you to the rugged beauty of Outback Australia, then a 2 week brumby safari is a must for you.

Brumby Safaris give you an excellent opportunity to experience first hand the wild horses in the outback desert of Australia.

Set in the sweeping plains of the Ukaka's people country, the Australian Brumby Research Unit of the University of Queensland will take you on tour of the habitats of some of the wildest horses in Australian set in beautiful natural landmarks.

The safari allows you to see first-hand these wonderful animals in their natural environment and to interact with the research team in sharing information about the characteristics that make this particular animal so specially adapted to this otherwise harshest of Australian environments.

You will spend glorious nights gathered around glowing campfires in the desert, feasting on Australian tucker and exciting days at cool water holes in the George Gill Ranges getting up close and personal with some of Australia's wildest brumbies.

Tour leaves from Alice Spring Airport in the Northern Territory and provide either a 7 or 11 day experience.

You will have the benefit of the shared experience of the research team as they interact with these animals as they advance their knowledge of horse behavior in this harsh but stunningly beautiful and remote landscape.
